fair enough i can't stand app games weather they are free or otherwise i prefer playing on consoles or handhelds but that's just my opinion i'm not cracking on you because you prefer app games man.

in fact i just beat one game tonight on my Vita, i hadn't played it for a few months and i beat my Lego: Harry Potter years 5-7 and you know what? that last one is actually a pretty hard game cause it took me forever to beat Voldemort.

Wait for the next gen of games to come out in a few years. Everything will be in the cloud and subscription based on steroids. I seen a few interviews with game related CEO's and they even admit they gonna make even bigger money in the years to come, especially with millenniums(cha-ching). They going hard to target ppl age 18 to about 44. They know they dont have a chance for anyone over 50 since were cheap and broke and playing the free stuff is fine with us. If us older ppl do buy games its the dirt cheap puzzle phone games or easy stuff to tap and waste a little time with.

i'm sorry i hate the idea of the cloud and i hope it's a huge failure as i've said and i hope it's not just streaming in a few years all i ask is that 10 years from now if i'm still a gamer that we still have consoles and still have physical discs. now if they want to have both that's one thing i can live with just long as it's an option as there are a lot of is regardless of age who still prefer to buy the physical disc.

In ten years everything will be in the cloud. Almost everything is now anyways. Medical, banking, blah-blah-blah. There wont b a need for a PC like im typing on. I barely use a PC myself. Evrything is automated. Everything is getting cheaper. Even movies/tv on the freeweb is even huge today than a few years ago.

Everything will be cloud based. Just a few monster worldwide server-farms to store it in.

You'll see. The PC has been dying. Pricey hardware is dying and cheap is the thing. Its all gonna be phone based,,,,,a tablet at best.

If your gonna keep up buying new top end PC then god bless you if you can afford that money every 2 years and. I want the money you have then.

Id say give it up buying the new consoles coming out in about a year....Your gonna b all subscription based service. Good luck on that venture. Game CEOs got guys like you pegged. Or play old games on a PC and old consoles. If your a real gamer they always want the latest and r willing to spend anything new.

Im not thinking your a hardcore gamer. I know a few young guys that game. They spend a furtune on games. Its like crack cocaine to them.

1stly i have no idea when i'm gonna get my PC whenever this one goes i assume if they are still making them than i will buy one. if not than i will be forced to get a laptop which i hope i won't have to. those rarely last very long. yes some do but sheesh my folks and they do take care of them get one like every 5 years or so. my last PC lasted 9 years! i think i heard someone say there laptop lasted 8 and i haven't heard that many people say their's lasted that long so i think that is rare.

anyways, i dunno about subscriton yet, i am trying out games with old and updated my xbox with ultimate game pass for a buck. meaning i now have 13 months instead of 12. i've never used the service before so i thought since i got a new X i'll give it a try. but i don't subscribe to anything at the moment, the cloud is an awful simply dreadful idea that i pray flops. and as far as i know the PS5 isn't doing that yet. as someone said if they do that and microsoft goes out of buisness we are screwed cause there is no way to get your games but people don't realize that ya know? and not everyon's internet is good either again something they just don't think about at all. i buy each new console when it comes out, however i buy it once meaning when the PS4 came out with the slim i didn't buy it. or when Xbox came out with the xbox one aka the xbone and man i wish i would have thought up that nickname it's just too funny.

anyways, that was flopping pretty much so they put out the one X which is the one i bought, than they came out with the one S which came out a year before the X. that's a less powered one with less featured, nor did i get that piece of crap garbage all digital box that just came out this past spring either. i love playing games but i don't play 24/7 like some people do nor do i have all the tech they put out. i mean they have a control xbox has this that's coming out in October that costs no joke $180 bucks i got my Vita for $150 used a couple years back why would i spend that on a controller?

i want it but not for that kind of money. i don't care on how good it is. but i dunno what i'd call myself but i play whenever i feel like it pretty much. i can go days without playing anything in fact. simply cause i'm not in the mood to play anything, unlike some people who have it take over their life which i've never had it do. and that is on purpose too

I play free phone games and they cool. They not as low tech as it seems. Some r really good.

As far as a PC machine. Id say(since i built all my PCs)......Its fairly cheap for a guy on a budget and knows what they doing. Super Fast - Super Cheap... Try looking at hardware from TigerDirect. Even BeachAudio sells cheap stuff at times.

You gotta look and be price minded. I have always followed a very strict budget in life(im not rich). You just have to look.

Heck,,,,,This low end laptop i on now was super cheap. Ive had it for years and turn it on maybe once a week just to chat here maybe. Im not a screen person. Build a basic LINUX Box dude.

nothing wrong with that i just can't play games on the phone i'm sorry i just can't. i like to actually have a screen where i can see the game. also if i have a call my game won't be hurt and all i have to do is just pick it up rather than worry about if i'm gonna miss the call or not.

Games dont get hurt or calls. Theres full offline games to load. They about 1gig total DL bro(at least from what i loaded).

Easy peasy and the gfx r cool now than even 1 year ago. Everything is turning mega smooth, cheap, and fun.

Those pricey web days and gamer anything are dying. Trust me. I didnt grow up with the web,,,,I seen it evolve.

The web is massive and most stuff is monster free today and getting more free monthly.

well i didn't grow up with the web either man, i just know what i like and it's console gaming i spent a crap ton of money for the consoles my X that i just replaced was $400 bucks and that was on sale i saved $100 bucks cause it's normally $500 bucks plus i love having physical games and i'm not the only one i know how old i am but there's a lot of us out there who are a hell of a lot younger than me who enjoy collecting physical media and i'm one of them it's just not the same thing, i just bought this past Saturday a favorite tv show Quantum Leap on blu-ray for $37.00 bucks from best buys

i haven't watched that yet to be fair, but if i want to watch that anytime i want i can but if i have it digital if a site that it's on goes under let's say Sony Owns the show and i use their service than i'm screwed and not a good way on wanting to watch the show. or if i use Netflix which i don't stuff leaves their all the time, Supernatural another show i have the entire series on blu-ray and dvd i'm slowly getting the entire show i blu-ray. when that is on Netflix songs are changed from the ones that originally aired cause Netflix could not obtain the rights to use it.

yet it's on the blu-ray along with deleted scenes, audio commentary, gag reels etc... with games it's actually takes less space if you have a physical game now if i had a stupid digital gaming console for example well guess that console is going to fill up pretty fast with MB because if you take a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 which took 2 discs to install that's 90 MB or a final Fantasy game which the remake of 7 is going to b e2 discs that fills up pretty damn fast too cause games are bigger these days Red Dead 2 is a long game and so is God of war.

now take a Lego game that doesn't require as much room cause they really aren't long stories though it does feel like that at times. in short i can respect what you like i just prefer physical that's all no biggie
