i dunno that one. i've watched a slew of old films from the 30's lately i've just been in the mood ya know there is one that i really loved i watched before bed last night called While The Patient Slept from (1935) and it was a damn good mystery too. with Guy Kibbee i that's how ya spell his name? he's a character actor from the 30's and 40's. and i think it was in a Bette Davis film or a Jimmy Cagney film i watched years ago where i became an instant fan. the character he plays are pretty memorable most of the time even if the film is utter crap. this one though he was pretty much the lead actually.

it's a B picture and i had never heard of it before either. well worth a watch i think

I watched "A Soldiers Tale" before that over the weekend. Its a good movie but the ending is so messed up. I recommend the movie.

I limit my screen time. I only watch 2 eps of tv, or 1 movie a night(when I do). Nothing over a little but 2 hours of screen time a day when I watch tv. Sometimes I go days without looking at tv/movie. Thats just me though. Im getting ready to watch a movie tonight though. :)

Rage. It was horrible. Fell asleep after 30mins actually((((((BAD))))). I generally fall asleep for movies. Its not a movie, but I been watching British tv called Midsomer Murders. Its like watching a movie. The episodes r over 1:30minutes long. Each episode is a movie based on a book. It took me over a month just to get to season 3. British tv is crazy long per episode.

Yeah. One thing about British Tele is theres tons of it on the web. I get tired of watching US tv at times. Some world tv is pretty good. I just finished watch The Healer. It was an ok Faith Based movie but it was ruined by a sex scene with b00bs and a couple F Bombs. What director adds b00bs and swearing to a Faith Based movie? Those 2 scenes ruined a pretty ok story.

nudity and swearing don't bother me to be honest, i swear like a sailor at times myself. but when they put a nudity in a film that really doesn't need it i can see what you mean. it just depends on the film though. when you said The Healer i was thinking at first you meant the (1935) film also called Little Pal with Mickey Rooney that is about an hr or so long i believe. that one is a pretty damn good little picture.

I do watch tv. I watch most all my tv and movies on apps. 100% free.

You like old movies. yes? I know just about whats getting posted daily on whatever site your using to download from. I had cable until 2 weeks ago. all that old movie stuff your looking at on pirate sites is nothing more than captures from channels like Turner Classic, FreeForm, etc. channels. People are using software called PlayOn and grabbing it(or something else). Then they post it within minutes after they edit and upload it. Trust me. I watched it over and over with those old movies. Its the same as pirates do with tv like Walking Dead. No difference. People can watch TWD for free on the app.

Apps IS the way to watch tv. I shut off my cable because googleplaystore has apps for all the same junk thats on tv(same as microsoft and apple store). Other than premium tv like HBO, etc...anything and everything thats on 500 channel cable tv is free on apps bro. Trust me. Im not a downloader. I watch all my tv on apps.

Everyone under age 55 watches apps. Cable tv is for old people who wont embrace simple phone or tablet tech. I wouldnt cancel my cable if i couldnt watch at least most of my regular tv shows on the fly free. I can afford cable, but why waste $100 a month when I can load a few apps and I can watch tv anywhere on the fly. I think cable tv is a waste of money after I started playing with apps. People waste so much money with cable and penny pinch to keep it. Why? Apps is the way to go. You just have to play with the apps that work for you and you need to use. Everyone uses differnt apps for what they need to watch. I dont miss my cable tv at all. BIG waste of money honey.

added for honey. I watched the original 1950s A Star is Born and it was soooo bad I shut it off after 40mins. I think the 1970s version is the best of the 3. The new remake was ok but not as good as Streisand/Kristofferson. That version is the best!

we have DISH which really isn't cable. and we have tons of channels. i have fire tv that i at times watch when i feel like it i also have rooku as well. i have i think 150 apps on my rooku i think.

certain stuff you have to pay for i watch the free stuff. and yes i do know that people take stuff off TCM and that doesn't bother me at all because they play a lot of RARE movies and they are the only place to find certain films. and their films normally look really good in quality too so i'm okay with that.

If you have all that stuff then you have money to spend more than anyone I know in real life. I only know one person with cable....my ex. At best ppl I know have cheap net like I do and netflix. I dont have netflix or any of that stuff.

I have 30 channels on antenna tv and I use apps.

If you have all that tv why mess on anything pirate dude? You already have it all. People who have all that kind of tv dont need to pirate. You must be the only guy online(that I ever read) that pays for all kinds of crazy cool tv only to pirate tv.

Excuse me while I retire for th eve and watch my crummy tv on free apps. :)

well i lent my fire tv to my mom and my rooku a friend gave to me for free actually his sister gave it to him a few years ago so mine is an older model, but it was brand new still in the package when he gave it to me last year. as for why i download movies? cause when it comes to certain stuff the apps don't have everything i'm looking for. the ones that are free are in the public domain and for the one appes like rooku tv they only keep movies for a certain amount of time anyways. and plus i love movies not just movies from the 30's. i'm a huge Mickey Rooney/Christopher Lee and Vincent Price Fan

which is why i created the filmographies of them in VIP. and there's there's a lot of their films that are really hard to find and no app is going to have those either. we used to have netflix it stopped working for some weird reason so we got rid of it. but here is the thing they didn't have everything either, i looked up when we had it the names i just said among a few others and they didn't have not one film of anything i looked up and people say netflix has everything well they don't.

neither does Hulu either. another thing some of the titles that i named like While The Patient Slept i had never heard of before in my life. i downloaded that one and to my best of knowledge it's not on any kind of format. if it was on blu-ray i would buy it actually. apps are nice to have but they don't have everything, at least that i'm looking for. another Good Example there's a Mickey Rooney film from (1932) called Sin's Pay Day that film is impossible to find but i was able to find the reissue version of it when it was re-released in (1938) when he was big under a different Title called Slums Of New York.

i doubt the Original version even exists anymore, my point is that's a rare film the version i found was i believe taken from a 16mm film that someone was kind enough to upload and it was worth it too cause it was a great film. you won't be seeing that one on any app, hell even TCM has never played that one before

You really should try apps. Its almost like cable tv. I think apps r better. Apps have everything. All that old movie stuff you like r gobs of apps. At least look in the store. You only have to signin o instll the apps dude, but you can still search the apps. I bet if you play with a few apps youll find a couple youll like. Some kick but! Some apps just link you to the network channels or facebook but work pretty good.

I'll never pay for cable tv again. I love apps!

there's a charles Bronson film that i was looking for that no apps had and i looked through them all. i haven't downloaded it yet but at some point i will. another thing the apps don't have is as far as i know is them widescreen. which drives me nuts cause if it's avaliable in it i'm gonna watch it the way the director intended it to be.
